Duties:

• Lead and manage all aspects of high-stakes criminal cases involving crimes against children.
• Develop and execute comprehensive legal strategies for complex trial cases.
• Represent clients in court, presenting evidence and arguing on their behalf.
• Conduct thorough investigations, including interviewing witnesses and gathering evidence.
• Prepare and file legal documents, including motions, briefs, and appeals.
• Provide expert legal advice and guidance to clients throughout the trial process.
• Collaborate with law enforcement and forensic experts as needed.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws, legal precedents, and trial procedures.
• Mentor and supervise junior attorneys and legal staff.
• Engage in continuous professional development to stay current with legal practices and technologies.

Requirements:

• Extensive experience in criminal law, specifically with cases involving crimes against children.
• Proven track record of handling and winning high-profile criminal trials.
• Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive and emotionally challenging cases with professionalism and empathy.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is preferred.

Certifications:

• Admission to the Texas State Bar.
• Board certification in criminal law is highly desirable.
