Profile

Paralegal The candidate will work in conjunction with other legal support team members, the technical litigation support team, as well as attorneys and end clients as necessary. Will assist with preparation of documents to be filed/served such as discovery requests and responses, motions and responses, interrogatories, reports, and official communications. Attend depositions, trials, hearings, as well as on client conference calls/meetings. Manage correspondence for multiple ongoing matters. Maintain case files for multiple ongoing matters including organization of official case materials, attorney work product, and template documentation specific to matters. Provide general support to attorney case teams including logistics, research, and matter facts. Assist with document review/organization including preparation of hard copy document sets or digital portfolios.

Qualification and Experience

The candidate should have a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university. Active ABA paralegal certificate is preferred. Must have 3+ years of experience as a paralegal or in a similar legal support position. Should preferably have 7+ years as paralegal or similar legal support position. Proficiency with S Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint is required. Proficiency with Adobe Pro & Reader is needed. Working knowledge of EDRM and associated case timeline is essential. General knowledge of litigation case procedures including depositions, discovery requests, hearings is a must. Experience with document review platforms such as Relativity, Concordance, Summation, iPro, View Point, etc. desired. Prior attendance as trial/hearing support team member is a plus. Should have strong documentation skills, including the ability to maintain and organize multiple versions and drafts of documents.
