Business Immigration Paralegal The candidate duties will include preparation and filing of petitions, nonimmigrant visa applications and immigrant visa applications. Compile and analyze case facts, draft correspondence, maintain and organize client documentation and have direct contact with employees and client contacts. Work under the direct supervision of attorneys and senior paralegals but will be expected to work independently as well. Responsible for informing their team of attorneys and senior paralegals of upcoming deadlines specific to the clients’ immigration cases.
Qualification and Experience
The candidate should preferably have Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university, or a paralegal certificate from an ABA approved program. Employment-based immigration paralegal experience is preferred. Must have superb writing skills with proven attention-to-detail, specifically impeccable spelling and grammar. Strong proficiency with MS Word, Outlook, INS Zoom, and a document management system. Possess strong writing skills, have excellent attention to detail, be able to multi-task and work independently toward team goals. Outstanding case/project management and organizational skills are required.
