Senior Paralegal The candidate will provide support to legal and human resources departments in the following areas: day to day operation of the department, contract and file maintenance, contract drafting and review, corporate compliance, research, and special projects. Will facilitate information requests to and from other divisions within the company, including research of legal and corporate matters. Review documents and transmit information and documents to company personnel with minimal guidance from supervising attorney(s). Manage contract management system and maintain contract calendar including renewal options, amendments, and expirations; ensure efficient and timely execution of all customer and vendor contracts; prepare regular status reports of company’s contractual activity. Maintain department calendar, prepare for departmental and other corporate meetings, compile minutes, and identify and track division tasks against deadlines. Assist in the development and improvement of departmental process and practice protocols in an effort to increase efficiency and productivity. Create and systematize a matter management system that assists with organizing and prioritizing the department’s projects and deliverables. Manage corporate compliance matters including the maintenance of corporate registrations. Maintain docketing system for all of the company’s intellectual property and provide support for timely registrations and maintenance for all new and existing intellectual property. Prepare routine correspondence, basic legal documents, agreements and instruments, such as confidentiality, consulting, leases, cease and desist letters, and insurance certificates. Manage and maintain all physical and electronic legal files and correspondence. Support company and divisional priorities. Support organization-wide legal and human resource projects and initiatives as necessary. Serve on cross functional initiatives in support of corporate priorities. Provide administrative support for human resources including assisting with issues related to the orientation of new employees, benefits, payroll, and other HR matters as needed. Perform other duties as assigned by the Chief Legal Officer. Must have Bachelor’s degree. Should have 5-10 years of experience in the legal field. Paralegal certification required. Must have strong computer skills including proficiency in Contract Management Software, Microsoft Office products including Word, Powerpoint, etc.
