Paralegal The candidate will organize pleadings, legal, subject, and issue files electronically. Will report to the Director of Administration, the Senior Paralegal Coordinator, and the Director of Legal Practice Support. Create and maintain databases for the case and document management. Assist with preparation of exhibits for briefs. Cite-check and Shepardize briefs and legal memoranda. Organize, analyze, and index documents and exhibits. Trace documents and search records for relevant information. Prepare cast of characters and chronology of events. Organize and supervise document productions in conjunction with our Associate Director of Litigation Support. Coordinate in and out-of-town depositions. Organization of documents for use at depositions, witness binders. Organize, summarize, and index deposition transcripts and exhibits. Organize and prepare witness files and trial notebooks. Create and maintain trial exhibit and deposition designation databases. Supervise the preparation of trial exhibits and demonstrative exhibits. Oversee logistical preparation. Assist in the preparation of motions in limine and other trial briefs. Attend and assist at trial. Collect and organize documents for use of examination and defense of witnesses. Identify and track exhibits offered and entered at trial. Create and maintain trial transcript and trial exhibit databases. Assist with preparation of post-trial briefs. Organize case files for use in appellate proceedings, if applicable. Supervise collection, indexing, and storage of case files and attorney working files. Should have 3 years of litigation paralegal experience. An undergraduate degree is preferred. Proficiency in Windows 10, Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), SharePoint, Relativity, Lexis, and Westlaw are preferred.
