Job Overview:
A prestigious law firm is seeking an experienced Corporate and Estate Planning Attorney to join its team in Omaha, NE. The ideal candidate will have 4-6 years of experience in corporate law, commercial real estate, and estate planning. This role offers the opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients and to manage complex legal matters in a collaborative and supportive environment. The successful candidate will be expected to provide strategic legal advice, manage client relationships, and contribute to business development efforts.

Location:

  • Omaha, Nebraska

Duties:

  • Provide legal counsel on corporate law, including entity formation, contracts, corporate governance, and mergers & acquisitions
  • Advise on commercial real estate matters, including negotiating and drafting agreements, leases, and loans; conducting due diligence such as title reviews, survey analysis, and environmental assessments
  • Assist clients with trust and estate administration, providing fiduciary representation and managing complex trust structures
  • Provide guidance on zoning and permitting issues
  • Collaborate with clients and advisors to understand client objectives and ensure client satisfaction
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships to promote business development and foster trust
  • Manage multiple projects efficiently, with attention to detail and accuracy

Requirements:

  • 4-6 years of relevant experience in corporate law, commercial real estate, and estate planning
  • Active license to practice law in Nebraska or eligibility to become licensed in the state
  • Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong focus on client service, responsiveness, and relationship management
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex legal concepts concisely
  • Ability to produce high-quality, efficient work product with attention to detail
  • Ability to take initiative and manage responsibilities with minimal oversight
  • Commitment to providing exceptional legal service

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (.) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

  • Must be licensed to practice law in Nebraska or eligible for licensure
