Job Overview:
A dynamic law firm is seeking a Patent Agent with 2-4 years of experience to join its Intellectual Property practice group in Atlanta. The role involves collaborating with clients in various industries, primarily focusing on chemistry and patent prosecution.

Location:

• Atlanta, GA

Duties:

• Counsel clients on patent prosecution matters.
• Prepare patent applications for submission to the USPTO.
• Respond to office actions from the USPTO and other patent offices.
• Engage with clients, including universities and start-ups, to protect their innovations.

Requirements:

• 2-4 years of experience in patent prosecution and USPTO registration.
• Master’s or PhD in organic chemistry, with knowledge of synthetic and polymer chemistry.

Certifications:

• Registration with the USPTO.

Skills:

• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage an active practice.
• Collaborative mindset and self-motivated approach.
• Interest in patent freedom to operate and patent litigation (preferred).
