Typical Work Hours/Shift:
Monday - Friday - 8:00-4:30/5:00 with possibilities of overtime


Reporting to the District Attorney, the Special Investigator serves as an investigator organizing and completing complex investigations for the District Attorney's Office. Cooperates with local law enforcement agencies in solving problems and assists in follow-up investigations.
Hours for the position:
Monday - Friday - 8:00-4:30/5:00 with possibilities of overtime
Outagamie County Offers:

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, divide, calculate decimals, percents and descriptive statistics.
Ability to comprehend and interpret a variety of documents including police reports, state statutes, coroners reports, policy manuals, legal documents, etc.
Ability to prepare a variety of documents including investigative reports, criminal complaints, search warrants, case law reports, subpoenas, general correspondence, etc.
Ability to use and interpret legal and medical terminology, criminal statutes and related law books.
Ability to communicate effectively with police agencies, judges, court personnel, witnesses, victims, attorneys, and the general public verbally and in writing.
