Part-time Legal Assistant / Paralegal The candidate will join an elder law and estate planning law firm. Will assist attorneys to meet client needs. Draft, prepare, update and proofread complex estate administration, estate planning and other documents, such as wills, trusts, court pleadings and various other financial beneficiary designation forms and asset lists. Proofread, conduct research and organize and maintain files. Liaise with clients. Must have 3+ years of related experience and a high school diploma or GED. Post-secondary training preferred. Notary public certification required (current or once hired). Prior experience drafting estate planning documents and in estate administration needed. Excellent grammar and proofreading skills with high attention to detail and follow-through on tasks are a must for us, along with proficiency in MS Office and WordPerfect. Prior experience using Time Matters a plus.
