ProfileBoston office of our client seeks labor and employment attorney with 3-5 years of experience. The candidate must have in-depth knowledge of both federal and employment laws. Must have experience in: Litigating employment cases, including wrongful termination, harassment, discrimination, retaliation, non-compete and wage and hour matters; taking and defending depositions in labor and employment matters; providing business-focused, creative and client-centric problem solving with ability to balance legal risk and business impact; providing common sense solutions to complex employment problems; conceptualizing and articulating pragmatic/creative counseling and advice to clients; reviewing, analyzing, negotiating and drafting employment and consulting contracts, separation agreements, settlement agreements, employment releases, handbooks, and other labor and employment contracts and related documentation; analyzing, addressing, and providing legal advice to a cross-functional team of lawyers in all practices areas. Proven experience representing employers, large and small, in employment disputes is needed. Must be licensed to practice law in the state of Massachusetts. Multiple State Bar admissions are a plus.
