Paralegal Responsibilities: Obtain, review and analyze documents including medical records, financial records, employment records or any other relevant information for discovery purposes; draft routine or complex legal documents for review and use by attorneys; review, organize and summarize medical records and other case materials; draft pleadings, discovery request and response, general correspondence, interrogatories/answers; conduct legal research; assist in deposition preparation, trial preparation, including assistance with preparation of witnesses for deposition; prepare exhibits; prepare chronologies; manage files; create status reports; and other duties as assigned.
Qualification and Experience
Requirements: Paralegal Certificate from an ABA approved program, Bachelor’s or Associate’s. Familiar with all aspects of litigation procedures and have 3-5 years’ experience as a litigation paralegal. 3-5 years paralegal experience in liability litigation, insurance defense a plus. Ability to work independently and under supervision. Possess a solid understanding of legal and medical terminology. Strong work ethic.
