Management of client files and information. Strong organization and time-management skills with attention to detail. Must have excellent writing and verbal skills as the paralegal has substantial client interaction. Proficient knowledge of the following software programs: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook. WestLaw a plus. TimeSlips a plus. WordPerfect working knowledge preferred. Experience with and understanding of the probate courts, probate processes and procedures, and probate filings. Knowledge of basic estate planning, and experience with drafting Wills, Revocable Trusts, Irrevocable Trusts, Durable Powers of Attorney, Advance Health Care Directives and related estate planning documents. Understanding of the trust administration process and experience reviewing trusts, working with clients to gather information, and organizing the information received. Proficient in deed preparation and assessor forms, paying close attention to avoid reassessment of property tax.
