Company Profile

McDonald Sanders began in 1951 when five prominent attorneys joined forces to form what is now one of the oldest law firms in Fort Worth. As a full-service firm, we have a long history of advising clients who have been instrumental in the phenomenal growth and development of Fort Worth, Tarrant County, and North Texas. We continue that legacy today not only through our legal work, but also through our involvement and support of local causes. While we have deep Fort Worth roots, our work extends beyond the city limits. We serve clients throughout Texas and across the country. As the only law firm member in our practice areas in the Fort Worth area in Geneva Group International (GGI), a worldwide alliance of professional service firms, McDonald Sanders is in a unique position to offer our clients a combination of global resources, business expertise, and local market knowledge.

Review:

"Great Full Service Firm"

Former Employee - Reviewed on July 23, 2018

Professional development, especially of younger associates, needs to improve. Mentoring should be increased and greater opportunities should be available to contribute to cases earlier on in career above and beyond research and writing.

Pros : Great size firm, not too big, not too small. Has the resources to make sure all the latest software and technology are available for associates so they have an advantage when working on cases; beautiful offices to go to everyday.
Cons : If you're new, it may take some time before you get assigned a bigger role on a case. If you're not pro-active about it, you won't advance quickly here.
Approve of the CEO[?] : Yes
Recommend this employer to a friend? : Yes
Business outlook for the next 6 months? : up
Current or former employee? : Former Employee
