ProfileSenior Paralegal, Litigation And Employment The candidate will provide general administrative, organizational, and project management assistance to litigation function. Will respond to discovery requests and case activities. Manage settlements, including coordination with Payroll and Accounts Payable for settlement payments. Maintain legal records, including litigation files and updates to litigation records in Serengeti and a weekly matter tracker; manage litigation-related billings. Maintain global litigation matrix and reporting. Manage small-to-medium sized litigation and/or legal department projects as they arise. Assist with internal employee and contractor investigations, review and summarize evidence, draft interview questions, and conduct interviews. Prepare documents for Agency complaints (e.g., EEOC, DLSE, DOL) including evidentiary binders, position statements, objections. Provide general support to employment/HR law function. Support company’s third party compliance program through review of new vendor compliance documentation, facilitation of approvals, and database/system management. Support the development of quarterly data analytics and metrics related to investigations, compliance inquiries, and general compliance matters; compile analytics and metrics for reporting to the Board. Monitor and support the Global Compliance general mailbox, respond as appropriate, or as directed. Manage annual Compliance Training and Communications initiatives including (1) assignment of compliance training (including monitoring completion rates), and (2) facilitate publication of internal compliance-focused communications to the global employee workforce in collaboration with the Global Compliance Team and Corporate Affairs. Other ethics and compliance program administration activities, as may arise from time-to-time. Must have Bachelor’s degree or higher. Should have litigation experience at a law firm, preferably with employment/labor law matters. Must have experience with all phases of litigation, including solid knowledge of litigation procedures and protocols. Should have experience of managing and analyzing data, including developing metrics suitable for presentation to executive level audiences. Project management experience is a plus. Exposure or familiarity with corporate compliance programs highly desired.
