Legal Assistant Duties: Meets with new potential clients, will complete the retention contract with the clients in detail and explain step by step process during the time until resolution. Will establish claims; schedule the initial treatment with providers, input all the information and facts produced by the client. Will be working with Spanish speaking potential and existing clients. Handle Data Entry, Scanning, Faxing, provide positive experience, Networking, Promote the firm, Capture new clients, Multiple outcalls and In calls.
Qualification and Experience
Qualifications: A two-year college degree plus key experience listed below: Insurance sales or Knowledgeable in insurance; 1-year prior legal assistant experience or Certificate in the legal field; Claims experience is a plus with legal work experience; 2+ years of Customer Service in a high volume environment. Bilingual in Spanish and be able to read and write. Knowledgeable in computer software, Windows, email, etc. Ability to Type a minimum of 50 WPM. Strong organizational and time management skills. Excellent interpersonal skills dealing with clients, peers, other departments and management. Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing. Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
