Assistant County Attorney, Human Services The candidate performs a variety of litigation functions in support of the Human Services Department. Attorney prepares pleadings, appears, litigates, and negotiates legal proceedings at the trial court and any resulting appeals. Provides legal representation in any collateral proceedings; conducts or defends discovery and manages records requests or subpoenas arising out of the subject areas. Must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and establish and maintain working relationships with clients and co-workers. Should have JD degree or LL.B. degree from an accredited law school and prefers 1 year of work experience, also preferably in the areas of County government. Must be licensed to practice law in Colorado. Should be a member in good standing of the State Bar of Colorado. Deadline: 02 May, 2018.
