Troy office of our client seeks business immigration associate attorney with 2-3 years of experience, including both immigrant and nonimmigrant matters. The candidate will communicate compassionately and professionally with clients to assess the eligibility of foreign national workers across the full spectrum of both immigrant and nonimmigrant visas/statuses in the U.S. Will coordinate timely and accurately with supervising attorneys regarding case progress and preparation. gather, review, and interpret sponsorship job offer details and supporting employee documentation. Evaluate and recommend case strategies and coordinate with paralegals and other support staff to prepare and file relevant petitions and applications timely with the USCIS, USDOL, USCBP, and USDOS with great attention to detail and accuracy. Provide timely and accurate case status updates to clients and employees tailored to meet their preferences and generate required periodic reports for clients, as requested. Guide clients on corporate immigration program development and maintenance, as well as corporate immigration law compliance issues. Support the DW Immigration Group at the attorney level with other assigned tasks and projects, as needed. Should have active U.S. State Bar association licensure (preferably in Michigan). Additional language capabilities is a plus.
