Legal Assistant/Administrative Support Duties: For service, hearings, & original documents to handle busy foreclosure caseload within the foreclosure departments. Assisting attorneys in all aspects of uncontested matters, including e-filing, drafting complaints, preparing/drafting pleadings, updating client systems, document organization, review and analysis of documents for production, and preparation for court filings.
Qualification and Experience
Qualifications: Knowledge of Florida Foreclosure Process from inception through resolution and Civil Rules of Procedures is mandatory. Familiarity with all aspects of electronic case filing. Ability to prepare and answer discovery requests and basic motions. Excellent grammar, punctuation, organizational, and communications skills required. Proficiency in Word, Excel as well as West Law or LEXIS and other Internet research tools. Self-starter and able to work independently. Must have the ability to think clearly under the pressure of deadlines. Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills. Strong time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize and multi-task in fast paced environment. A professional demeanor with strong interpersonal skills. Must be energetic, highly focused, ready to work hard and learn. Customer service minded.
