## Subrogation & Recovery - Associate at Cozen O'Connor Cozen O'Connor, a leading law firm, is looking for an Associate to join their Subrogation & Recovery Department. The ideal candidate will have at least three years of litigation experience, experience investigating claims, working with forensic experts, researching, writing, and oral advocacy skills, and experience drafting pleadings, discovery requests and responses, motions, and briefs. Candidates with experience investigating, analyzing, and litigating property subrogation and recovery claims and/or litigating the defense of property and product liability claims are ideal. Construction and/or experience as a prosecutor is a plus. The Associate position is available in either the Miami or Boca Raton office and admission to the Florida bar is required. We recover in excess of $200 million annually on behalf of our clients. **Qualified Candidates Should:** - Have at least three years of litigation experience - Have experience investigating claims, working with various types of forensic experts, and evaluating the legal and financial viability of various legal and equitable causes of action - Have experience drafting pleadings, discovery requests and responses, motions, and briefs - Have experience preparing for, attending, and presenting at court hearings; taking and defending depositions; and communicating with clients and opposing counsel - Have excellent academic credentials and strong research, writing, and oral advocacy skills - Be admitted to the Florida bar - Preferably be admitted in one or more Southeast US states - Have experience investigating, analyzing, and litigating property subrogation and recovery claims and/or litigating the defense of property and product liability claims (preferred) - Have construction and/or experience as a prosecutor (preferred) **Application Process:** We are not working with search firms to fill this position.
