Duties:

• Manage family law cases from initiation to resolution, including dissolutions, parental responsibility allocation, paternity, and custody litigation.
• Handle related financial issues such as child support, alimony, and property division.
• Provide legal representation in court for family law matters, including orders of protection and post-decree issues.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships, offering support and guidance throughout legal proceedings.
• Work closely with colleagues to prepare legal documents, evidence, and case strategies.
• Advocate for clients in family law disputes, with a focus on securing favorable outcomes.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of family law litigation experience.
• Illinois Bar License required.
• Proven experience handling complex family law cases, including custody disputes, child support, and domestic violence protection orders.
• Ability to manage multiple cases effectively while maintaining attention to detail.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to develop rapport with clients and opposing counsel.
• Passion for advocating on behalf of clients in high-stakes family law matters.
• Multilingual abilities are a plus.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Illinois Bar License (required).
