ProfileLitigation Services Analyst The candidate will responsible for quality control management and technical oversight of all operations and assuring compliance with claims policies and philosophies. Participates in management of complex, high impact claims and claims issues that pose a potential risk to the corporation. Reviews, analyzes and edits law firm invoices for compliance with the Company guidelines. Checks invoices for time and billing errors. Enters edits into the system, finalizes coded invoices within authority, and runs payment reports for law firms. Serves as point of communication for both law firms and business units regarding questioned line entries. Answers questions and inquiries from the law firms. Participates in conference calls with law firms to conduct bill reviews and audits. Prepares requests for further explanation to be sent to the law firms. Finalizes payment amounts for law firm invoices based on analysis of the firmâ€™s response to our further review requests. Researches and participates in resolving disputes on invoices. Analyzes responses submitted by law firms. Handles appeals / reconsiderations from law firms on invoice reductions. Assists the Litigation Services Manager with projects including on-site audits. Reviews statistical analysis of law firms to assist claim departments with counsel selection. Generates reports from the bill review software for business units such as pending invoices, invoices approved and invoices paid. Provides training and instruction to internal and external customers including guidance to less experienced positions. Must have JD degree and 1-3 years of post Bar experience in Insurance law or litigation claims. Should preferably have 1-2 years experience in a legal hourly billing environment. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite is needed. Proficient in Legal Solutions Suite or comparable bill review software is desired.
