Legal Assistant II The candidate responsibilities may include: Legal file reviews and document validations; File management to ensure court deadline are met; Drafting of legal documents such as: Motions, Affidavits, and Notice of Intent for VA, MD or DC Court Houses; Client interaction; Client communication; Legal research on legal matter such as complaints, cases, statutes and regulations; Calculating of fees; Assisting with projects/assignments from Attorneys. High school diploma is required. Previous experience in a law firm, title, bankruptcy, foreclosure and/ or mortgage banking is a plus. Must have Microsoft Office skills including MS Word, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint. Previous administrative experience, preferably in a similar environment, preferred. Should have experience with data entry, proofreading and editing documents.
