Manager, Litigation and Investigations
The candidate will Implement appropriate protocols and procedures for management and tracking of all third-party legal requests, including pre-litigation, attorney and government requests and demands. Issue and monitor legal holds, which includes ensuring and verifying compliance of such legal holds by Associates. Be a liaison with internal Information security team to conduct forensic investigations of laptops, servers, and cell phone devices. Collaborate with Director and Senior Counsel, Labor and Employment to report active matters. Partner with the Senior Manager, Risk and Claims to prepare insurance renewals and workers compensation filings, collaborating with insurers, and preparing regular reports. Collaborate with and support Senior Counsel and Director, Labor and Employment on compliance matters to ensure adherence with laws, regulations, standards, guidelines, best practices, and our internal Code of Conduct. Requires the analytical abilities and interpersonal skills necessary to assist with intake of complaints, which is then reported to Employment counsel. Ensure investigations are conducted and recommendations are developed in an objective manner; and prepare written reports of fact findings. Collect and manage information from internal and external resources to assist with investigations and participation in investigation strategy. Help identify Employee Relations trends and apply learning and root-cause analyses to deliver recommendations and sound solutions working in collaboration with HR, legal and business leaders. Partner with departments such as HR to guide referred Investigations. Maintain and produce detailed notes to summarize and present information gathered throughout the life-cycle of an investigation to teams. Maintain company-wide records management program. Periodically update Records and Information Policy and related procedures. Counsels business clients on compliance with record retention obligations. Manage relationship with records management vendors, including Iron Mountain.

Qualification and Experience

The candidate must have a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university. 10+ years of experience working as a litigation paralegal, litigation support professional, and investigations support is needed. Experience in the Discovery life-cycle including document collection, processing, review and production and use of litigation technology is essential. Experience in litigation technology, including Outlook 365 eDiscovery, document discovery platforms (e.g. Relativity), and the Microsoft suite of products such as PowerPoint, Excel, and Word is necessary. Experience managing contracts with litigation support and records management vendors is critical. Experience handling the multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced team environment is required.
