Management Associate II, GS 11 The candidate will serve as an analyst and advisor to a Senior Executive in providing analysis, information, and assistance in planning, organizing, managing, integrating, and evaluating the full range of the organization’s programs and activities. Participate in planning, policy formulation, direction, and evaluation activities. Provide guidance and counsel from a BPA-wide perspective, based on knowledge of BPA goals, objectives, and mission. Participate in external and internal meetings, working groups, and task forces involving a wide range of substantive administrative and management issues, including organizational realignments, administrative support, and human resources. Plan and conduct analyses and evaluations of problems and issues impacting the organization. Serve as a liaison between the organization and the Corporate human resources representative to obtain a variety of services related to staffing and human resources management. Traveling is required.
Qualification and Experience
The candidate must have the following qualifications: For GS-9. Specialized experience for this position is defined as: Providing advice, assistance, and coordination on administrative functions such as budget, procurement, human resources, etc. matters; Providing guidance and instruction on administrative processes and procedures for an organization; and Researching, interpreting, and providing guidance on regulatory policies, precedents, and practices to participate in organization and program studies or resolution of problems or issues. May substitute education for specialized experience as follows: Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree; 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree; or LL.M., which provided the knowledge, skills, and abilities to do the work. OR Combination of education and experience as described above. Less than one year of specialized experience may be combined with graduate education in excess of the amount required for the next lower grade level (i.e., credit hours beyond the first two years of full-time study may be credited).
