Duties:

  • Represent clients in civil litigation cases, focusing on professional negligence, transportation, product liability, and real estate disputes.
  • Manage all stages of litigation, including discovery, depositions, and pre-trial motions.
  • Conduct legal research and draft legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and discovery responses.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop case strategies and ensure effective representation.
  • Participate in depositions, court hearings, and trials as needed.
  • Communicate regularly with clients to provide updates and manage expectations.

Requirements:

  • 1 to 2 years of experience in civil litigation.
  • Strong background in discovery, depositions, and pre-trial activities.
  • Experience in professional negligence, transportation, product liability, or real estate-related litigation is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well with clients and colleagues.
  • Ability to handle multiple cases simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Must be located in California and able to work in the Sacramento office.
  • Active bar membership in California.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Active membership in the California State Bar.
