Qualifications: JD Degree. 10-15 years of legal experience, although outstanding candidates on either side of this range will be considered; Substantial transactional experience, including M&A expertise gained at a national law firm; Skilled at drafting and negotiating a variety of complex corporate, transactional, and commercial agreements and arrangements, including venture capital investments; Strong analytical ability together with reliably sound business judgment and a balanced approach to risk mitigation; Independent and solution-oriented attorney with the ability to manage multiple ongoing responsibilities and to context-shift across a variety of substantive areas on a daily basis. Superior written and verbal communication skills and a demonstrated ability to clearly and accurately explain complex legal issues to a non-legal audience; Able to successfully prioritize and manage multiple, high-priority matters across a range of business and legal areas while maintaining top quality deliverables; Strong interpersonal and leadership skills and the ability to foster relationships and work effectively with individuals at all levels and across all geographies of the organization; Able to work independently, take ownership and be accountable for results; Highly adaptable and resilient in the face of challenges and change; and able to balance need for process in a public company with an entrepreneurial culture; An enthusiastic and passionate self-starter with a can-do, results-oriented attitude; Willing to roll up your sleeves and participate in all aspects of a transaction; High energy level, with a sense of urgency to achieve stated business goals; Open to feedback and a good listener; and Committed in all cases to the highest professional and ethical standards.
