Supervising Attorney Duties: Responsible for handling contested/litigated matters for the Firm. Will handle a portion of Pennsylvania Commercial Foreclosure litigation. Will utilize legal knowledge and experience as necessary to facilitate the litigation process on behalf of our clients in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. Attend trials and hearings. Taking and defending depositions. May be required to attend hearings, mediations and other duties as assigned. Assist with other duties and special projects as needed. Provides exceptional customer service to internal and external customers. Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner. Conscientious with respect to work completion, deadlines, time management and attendance. Takes initiative in face of obstacles and identifies what needs to be done and takes action. Develops professional relationships and builds rapport with others.

Qualification and Experience

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s Degree with a JD Degree from an accredited law school. Member of the Pennsylvania Bar while maintaining all necessary licensing and continuing legal education requirements. NJ membership also preferred. 4+ years of litigation/courtroom experience. Foreclosure experience a plus. Must be proficient in drafting pleadings, briefs, affidavits, discovery, proposed orders, as well as correspondence, memoranda, and opinion letters. Proficiency with Fastcase or Westlaw. Demonstrates strong written and verbal communication skills. Effectively communicates with all clients (via client systems, e-mail and phone). Demonstrates commitment to Firm’s vision, mission, and core values. Analytical and detail oriented, while working at a fast pace and capable of multi-tasking. Excellent problem solving and organizational skills. Must be a team player and willing to help others in their department whenever necessary. Overall good work ethic and willingness to adapt to change.
