Trial Attorney, GS 14 - 15 The candidate will engage in discovery, depositions, motions practice, and other pre-trial procedures to prepare cases for administrative hearings. Will prepare staff witnesses for examination, cross-examine witnesses, and respond to evidentiary objections. Must have JD or LL.B. degree from an accredited college or university and possess an active Bar membership and specialized experience for this position. Should possess substantial complex utility litigation and energy law experience, including substantial legal practice applying the Federal Power Act or the Natural Gas Act. Must be a graduate from a law school accredited with the American Bar Association. Should be a member in good standing of a state, territory of the United States, District of Columbia, or Commonwealth of Puerto Rico bar. Familiarity with federal energy law or energy industry exposure is a plus. Trial experience, preferably involving complex utility litigation and energy law experience, including legal practice applying the Federal Power Act or the Natural Gas Act. Deadline: 04/17/2018
