Senior Conflicts Analyst (Laterals) The candidate will join the lateral Business Intake and Conflicts team. Will process, analyze and determine existing or potential conflicts for all attorney lateral hires, paralegals and all other staff. Paralegal certificate or completion of an ethics course in a paralegal program and/or prior experience as a paralegal in a law firm preferred. J.D. degree is strongly preferred. Must have 5+ years of experience in a legal environment. Should have knowledge of ABA's Model Rules of Professional Conduct and California State Bar Association's Rules of Professional Conduct. Should also have advanced knowledge of conflicts and an overall understanding of a corporate law practice. Experience with complete conflicts resolution preferred. Flexibility to work overtime is required.

The law office should step away from only focusing on attorneys and should also look into helping other staff. Also, there is a need for affordable benefits.

Pros : The law firm is composed of employees and staff which are respectful and very knowledgeable. The law firm is unique in the sense that they embrace a different type of work culture.
Cons : The law firm does a poor job of offering benefits to staff and employees which are affordable. The management team seems to focus more on staff that includes attorneys.
