Real Estate/Municipal Law Paralegal Duties: Conduct searches and have knowledge of filing with the Secretary of State’s Office, Registry of Deeds, Land Court and on PACER. Prepare and review contracts to purchase or sell (residential and commercial). Research encumbrances or clouds on title. Preparation of Title Insurance Commitments and Policies. Sale or Acquisitions of Real Estate by Municipality. Prepare and review contracts to purchase or sell (residential and commercial). Research encumbrances or clouds on title. Preparation of Title Insurance Commitments and Policies. Preparation and filing of corporate documents for various forms of entities with the Secretary of State’s office. Tax Lien Foreclosures. Easements; Eminent Domain Process.

Qualification and Experience

Qualifications: State Licensure as required; Paralegal Certificate/Degree or comparable work experience. Must have 2-3 years’ experience. Experience in residential, commercial and municipal real estate transactions. Excellent communication, organization and grammar skills. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Outlook. Knowledge of REBA Title Standards. Knowledge of REBA Title Standards. Should be highly motivated, conscientious, detail oriented and one that needs little supervision. Should be able to adapt to a fast-paced environment, meet deadlines and effectively manage a large case load.
