Housing Manager, GS 11 Duties: Will serve as the acting Housing Officer for the Branch of Housing Management, Division of Administration, for Yosemite firm. Responsible for the administrative management for the park's government housing program. Consists of approximately 400 housing units with both required and permitted occupants. Ensure that housing assignments are made timely and occupancy records are tracked accurately. Provided coordination between the housing office and the fiscal office to facilitate the timely and accurate billing of rent and other bills of collection generated by housing occupancy issues and rental recovery. Require a comprehensive knowledge of a wide range of federal, state, agency, and local housing policies and administrative practices.

Qualification and Experience

Qualifications:
GS-11 grade level: Must possess at least one of the following minimum qualifications by close of the announcement: Should have 1 full year of specialized experience comparable in scope and responsibility to the GS-09 grade level in the Federal service (obtained in either the public or private sectors). Experience includes activities such as: comprehensive knowledge of a wide range of federal, state, agency and local housing policies, requirements, administrative practices and procedures to perform broad management planning, budgeting, scheduling and coordination of management resources for effective and efficient operation and use of housing facilities and implementation of housing policies; skill in negotiating broad program issues with counterparts in others services and agencies, community organizations and occupants; and knowledge of housing projects or facilities and skill in developing related local plans, directives and other administrative guides. You must include months, years, and hours per week worked to receive credit for your work experience.

OR

Must have successful completion of at least a Ph.D or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.M. in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to perform the work of the position. You must include a copy of your transcripts at the time of application.
OR
Should have successful completion of a combination of education and experience as described above. Combine education and experience, first take amount of completed, qualifying doctoral education units and convert it to a percentage of the total educational requirement. Then take the number of months of full time experience and divide by 12 months. Add the percentages together. The total must equal at least 100 percent to qualify. You must include a copy of your transcripts at the time of application.
