The Role:

- Perform substantive and client-facing work in a dynamic and challenging atmosphere
- Utilize specialized knowledge and skills in employment-based immigration matters
- Independently prepare and file petitions with government agencies
- Oversee case progress and assist with review
- Work with clients to troubleshoot issues and establish case strategy
- Generate clear and well-organized written work with accurate application of immigration knowledge
- Communicate promptly and clearly with foreign nationals and client contacts
- Meet deadlines and communicate progress to supervisor
- Assist with hiring and training new team members
- Identify ways to improve team productivity and office-wide projects
- Stay updated on changes to immigration policy
- Be fluent with case management and reporting tools
- Contribute to team and individual productivity goals
- Follow firm standards and policies to ensure compliance
- Demonstrate a continuous improvement mindset

Qualifications:

- Associate’s degree or Paralegal certificate with 4 years of business immigration experience
- Bachelor’s degree with 3 years of business immigration experience
- Strong knowledge of procedural requirements for various visas
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with MS Word and Excel
- Desire to contribute to a positive work environment
