Claims Paralegal
The candidate provide legal claims and litigation support, focusing upon claims legal and corporate legal functions, compliance, subpoenas, licensing etc. All job duties and responsibilities must be carried out in compliance with applicable legal and regulatory requirements. Review and process subpoenas. Process panel counsel legal bill reviews. Assist with legal expense management and compliance. Assist in identifying and implementing new process and procedures related to legal issue and compliance. Work with Corporate Legal Department as necessary. Conversant with applicable law and rules governing civil procedure. Claims Compliance and Shared Services Projects, as needed and requested. Administer the panel and staff counsel QPRs.

Qualification and Experience

A College degree preferred. Paralegal certificate or equivalent experience required. Must have 3 years of previous Paralegal experience. Familiarity with claims litigation, claim handling procedures, practices and systems preferred. Claims Regulatory Compliance experience preferred. Legal billing and bill review knowledge or experience preferred. Subpoena review and processing experience is required.
