A law firm seeks a dedicated and knowledgeable Immigration Attorney to join its team in Pittsburgh, PA. This position is ideal for a professional who deeply understands business immigration law. The role offers a hybrid work schedule, with the opportunity to work remotely 1-2 days a week. The firm is seeking candidates who can provide legal counsel across various industries and manage immigration compliance systems effectively.
Duties
- Oversee preparation and filing of nonimmigrant and immigrant petitions (., L-1, H-1B, TN, O-1, E-2, PERM, I-130, EB1a/b/c, I-140, I-485)
- Train and manage a team of paralegals to support immigration case processing
- Provide regular updates and communicate case progress with clients
- Attend USCIS interviews at the Pittsburgh Field Office as required
- Stay updated on the latest developments in business immigration law
- Advise clients on I-9 and E-Verify compliance, as well as corporate immigration policies and strategies
- Counsel clients through the PERM labor certification process
- Foster strong relationships with clients and internal team members
Requirements
- Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in business immigration law
- Comprehensive knowledge of various . immigration processes, including employer-sponsored petitions, consular practice, and family-based applications
- Proven ability to handle multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent interpersonal and team collaboration skills
- Strong legal judgment and ability to articulate legal strategies
- Ability to work with clients from diverse industries and maintain . immigration statuses for employees
- Must be willing to work on-site in Pittsburgh, PA, with occasional remote work
Education
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited . law school (foreign LLMs not considered)
