Job Overview: A well-established law firm is actively seeking an experienced and motivated attorney to specialize in Divorce, Family Law, and Criminal cases. This role offers an opportunity to represent clients in a variety of legal matters, including court proceedings, negotiations, and document preparation. The attorney will be responsible for providing expert legal advice, drafting legal documents, and ensuring that clients receive high-quality legal representation.

Duties:

• Represent clients in court and before governmental agencies, ensuring effective advocacy.
• Prepare and draft a range of legal documents including motions, pleadings, and contracts.
• Provide legal counsel and advice to clients regarding family, criminal, and divorce matters.
• Negotiate settlements and efficiently handle dispute resolutions.
• Ensure compliance with legal standards, laws, and regulations.
• Perform administrative duties to support ongoing legal practice.

Requirements:

• Proven experience handling Divorce, Family Law, and Criminal cases.
• Strong understanding of relevant legal documents, procedures, and regulations.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to build and maintain professional relationships with clients.
• Ability to communicate complex legal matters in a clear, concise, and professional manner.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admission to the state bar (New York) and in good standing.

Skills:

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• In-depth knowledge of legal principles in Divorce, Family Law, and Criminal Law.
• Strong negotiation and litigation skills.
• High attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
