Corporate Assistant The candidate will be responsible to support the attorneys and paralegals on the corporate team when necessary and performs all duties at the direction and under the supervision of a senior paralegal. Duties are as follows: conduct basic document organization including filing, assembling, indexing and inventorying; may assist with other document handling including proofreading, redacting, tabbing, and PDFing; organize client records and maintain files; assist with shareholder, director, investor and other client mailings; handle BCI data entry; assist with routine document preparation including option agreements, non-disclosure agreements, indemnification agreements and stock certificates; assist in preparation for closings and due diligence sessions including photocopying, document tracking, data room set-up and conference room set-up; prepare closing volumes including index, document assembly, binding and final distribution; handle the filing of Rule 144 legal opinions; audit, update and maintain minute books; assist with preparing signature packets; input time entry daily. Must have office experience, preferably in a law firm environment. A paralegal certificate is a plus.
