Legal Administrative Assistant
Duties : Answering phones, greeting and directing guests, receiving and logging mail and deliveries, issuing and reconciling parking stamps, updating court calendar, data entry, scheduling reservations for agency fleet vehicles and conference rooms, scheduling appointments, and requesting building maintenance. Providing legal assistance to staff attorneys, and drafting correspondence to different agencies, courts and other entities to obtain and verify documents as well as scheduling meetings with multiple agencies. Most duties require public contact so employee must be able to communicate clearly and effectively, both orally and in writing. Maintain a high level of integrity and confidentiality of information as required by the Attorney General.
Qualification and Experience_Strong preference will be given to applicants with knowledge of state and federal government agencies and managing and scheduling calendars and appointments. Professional appearance and excellent communication skills are required_
