Duties and Responsibilities

  • Conduct negotiations with opposing parties and insurance companies.
  • Review and analyze client records, medical reports, and other relevant documentation.
  • Prepare and conduct depositions, hearings, and trials.
  • Represent clients in legal proceedings and advocate for their interests.
  • Develop case strategies and provide legal advice tailored to clients' needs.
  • Manage and prioritize multiple cases and legal projects simultaneously.
  • Maintain regular communication with clients, providing updates and addressing their concerns.
  • Prepare and draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and settlement agreements.
  • Collaborate with team members and support staff to ensure effective case management.
  • Ensure compliance with legal procedures and deadlines.

Requirements

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admitted to practice law in Wisconsin, Minnesota, Iowa, or North Dakota.
  • Previous experience in a professional office environment, preferably in personal injury law.
  • Proven ability to work as part of a team, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to handle confidential matters with discretion and professionalism.
  • Reliable transportation for commuting to the office and client meetings.
