Documentation Specialist, Legal Department The candidate will provide support for the Legal Department. Primary responsibilities may include: prepare, organize and review documents and agreements; analyze documents to determine appropriate workflow; resolve routine questions; work with counterparties during negotiations of derivative documents; assist with and provide documents in response to internal and external requests; maintain tracking systems and maintain up to date records; and, complete/support ad hoc projects, as needed. The position will at first focus on the derivatives area, but can expand to cover other aspects of companyâ€™s business. The preferred candidate will have an interest in working at the intersection of law and finance.
Qualification and Experience
The candidate should have Bachelorâ€™s degree in Business, Finance, Paralegal Studies, Legal Studies or equivalent work experience. Should have 2 years of experience as a documentation or transactional support specialist. Must have strong analytical and organizational skills. Previous experience in the financial services industry strongly preferred.
