Investment Advisor The candidate will responsible for business development activities for new Asset Management clients as well as portfolio management for a large book of trust and investment agency accounts for high net worth client relationships with invest-able assets of $2M - $100M+. This includes ongoing asset allocation, re-balancing and performance discussions with existing clients as well as supporting new business development opportunities through proposal generation and the implementation of investment recommendations for new clients. Will be responsible for ensuring an excellent client experience, including working with a team of specialists to manage the client relationship. Will be retaining and deepening existing client relationships are key to success in this position in addition to successfully contributing to new business opportunities. Should have ability to successfully identify and manage compliance and risk management issues is also important.

Qualification and Experience

The candidate should have 7+years experience in wealth management working with high net worth individuals and families; Bachelors Degree required; MBA, JD, CFP, CFTA, CIMA or CFA strongly preferred; Good working knowledge of investment management; experience working with high net worth clients. Must have demonstrated track record of successfully selling to high net worth clients. Should be able to work independently as well as in a team environment; ability to build collaborative working relationships with Client Advisors, Trust Officers and Private Bankers. Should have strong client relationship management and sales skills; Ability to communicate sophisticated investment strategies to all levels of clients and prospects. Should have proven sales success including: prospecting, profiling, overcoming objections, negotiation, team selling approach, closing the sale and asking for referrals; Demonstrated understanding of wealth management including, but not limited to: credit, deposits, trusts and financial planning; Interactive skills in order to understand client needs and take action with the appropriate solutions. Should have proficiency with MS Office and other technical investment-oriented applications.
