Litigation Paralegal The candidate must have 3-5 years of experience who is a responsible and proactive professional willing to take a leading role in supporting the office's dynamic litigation practice groups. In addition to assisting with all facets of the litigation process, should preferably be able to work autonomously and have the ability and demonstrated track record providing case management on large complex matters, with a strong proficiency in motion practice, e-discovery, and deposition and trial prep. Specific duties include: managing all phases of discovery; assisting with various court filings at the Appellate, Federal, and State court levels; proficient with the mechanics of e-filing and e-file with courts and agencies; maintaining and organizing case files; conducting factual and legal research; proofreading, cite checking and shepardizing briefs and legal memoranda; and managing case calendar and electronic case rooms. Should also be proficient with Concordance and Relativity. Must have a Bachelor's degree. Overtime may often be required on short notice.

The law office should step away from only focusing on attorneys and should also look into helping other staff. Also, there is a need for affordable benefits.

Pros : The law firm is composed of employees and staff which are respectful and very knowledgeable. The law firm is unique in the sense that they embrace a different type of work culture.
Cons : The law firm does a poor job of offering benefits to staff and employees which are affordable. The management team seems to focus more on staff that includes attorneys.
