Duties:

  • Collaborate with clients to identify their goals and develop effective legal strategies.
  • Work closely with team members to ensure high-quality legal services are provided.
  • Stay updated on local rules and regulations in King, Snohomish, and Pierce Counties.
  • Build relationships with clients from diverse backgrounds to provide tailored legal support.
  • Participate in networking and marketing efforts to strengthen community engagement.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of legal experience, with a focus on family law (Washington state experience preferred).
  • An active member in good standing with the Washington State Bar Association.
  • Familiarity with local court rules in King, Snohomish, and Pierce Counties or ability to learn quickly.
  • Proficiency in legal technology platforms such as Dropbox, Adobe, MS Office 365, Slack, and Clio.
  • Strong legal writing and communication skills (writing sample required).
  • Willingness to be coached and practice open communication.
  • Emotional intelligence and ability to work effectively with diverse clients.
  • Ability to attend in-person court proceedings, mediations, and meetings as required.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Licensed to practice law in Washington State.

Skills:

  • Exceptional organizational and time management abilities.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage effectively with clients.
  • Proficiency in legal research, writing, and drafting legal documents.
  • Ability to balance multiple priorities and meet billable hour requirements.
