A law firm is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Personal Injury Attorney to join their legal team. The attorney will represent clients who have suffered injuries due to the negligence of others. This role involves providing legal advice, negotiating settlements, and representing clients in court. Location:
Duties:
- Provide legal counsel to clients regarding their personal injury claims.
- Represent clients in court, negotiations with insurance companies, opposing counsel, and other relevant parties.
- Negotiate settlements to secure fair compensation for clients’ injuries.
- Develop case strategies and prepare legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
- Collaborate with coworkers to support injury cases.
- Investigate and gather evidence, conduct witness interviews, and prepare expert testimony.
- Attend depositions, mediations, and other legal proceedings on behalf of clients.
- Maintain regular communication with clients, keeping them informed about the progress of their case.
- Ensure adherence to legal ethics and professional standards.
- Participate in daily and monthly firm meetings.
- Perform other related job duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in personal injury law (Plaintiff or Defense).
- Active member in good standing with the South Carolina Bar.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and writing skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Experience with Salesforce is a plus.

Education:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree required.
Certifications:
- Must be a licensed attorney in good standing with the South Carolina Bar.
