Patent Paralegal The candidate will be handling the US, PCT and foreign national stage patent applications, filings, prosecution documents, responses and all communication with US Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) and foreign agents. Will be assisting attorneys in matters before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board, including settlement agreements and oppositions. Handling the docket to clear dates, keep attorneys on task with deadlines and provide follow-up to attorneys and clients. Drafting and proofing all necessary documents and communication for attorneys in an efficient manner. Assisting attorneys with meeting client needs. General file and database maintenance and other administrative tasks. Working knowledge and experience with the USPTO website is needed. Familiarity with US and foreign patent procedures, rules and requirements are needed. Excellent written and oral communication skills are needed. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office is needed. Patent docketing experience is needed. Organization, attention to detail and time management is must. Should have 2+ years of law firm experience.
