New York City office of an AmLaw firm seeks employment and labor associate attorney with 5-7 years of experience. The candidate should ideal have substantial, independent experience in counseling clients regarding, and litigating in connection with, employment matters, including wage and hour and employee compensation matters, discrimination and harassment matters, employee mobility issues, government audits and investigations, and lawful hiring, disciplinary and termination practices. Must also have experience in advising clients on compliance matters and drafting employment-related agreements and policies. Traditional labor experience, including handling grievance arbitrations and participating in collective bargaining, matters before the NLRB, and union organizing campaigns, is preferred. First chair litigation and/or arbitration experience are essential. New York Bar membership in good standing is required.
