Intern Intern will assist staff attorneys in representing clients in administrative, state and federal forums. Interns are expected to assist with litigation support; draft affidavits, letters, and pleadings; do legal research and writing, case planning, fact investigation, client communications, and outreach activities. Should have demonstrated interest in working with low-income persons; must have completed at least one (1) year at an accredited law school; interest in gaining expertise in public benefits and other poverty law areas. Should have good writing and oral advocacy skills; good interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with clients, the public, and co-workers; ability to work on computer based system.
