Corporate Administrative Assistant
The candidate will prepare, revise and finalize correspondence, legal documents, presentations and other materials as delegated. Run conflict checks, open new client/matter engagements, set-up billing requirements for clients, enter attorney time in entry system, assist with billing/client invoices and process expense reports. Maintain electronic and paper files; utilize document management system and technology to facilitate organization and efficiency. Maintain attorney calendars, coordinate travel arrangements and logistics, schedule meetings, conference calls and communicate with numerous internal and external parties. Special projects and other assignments as delegated.

Qualification and Experience

The candidate should preferably have College degree; high school degree or equivalent mandatory. Proficiency using Microsoft Word with advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint required. Must have excellent proofreading skills and typing of 60+ wpm. Must have strong ability to write and communicate effectively and professionally with employees, clients, attorneys and external parties. Should have strong organizational and document management skills. Must have ability to work in a fast-paced environment by organizing and prioritizing multiple time-sensitive tasks on a daily basis. Should have experience maintaining confidential information and exercising sound judgment.

"Very Flexible Firm"

I would like to see management implement small groups that will take care of worker reviews on a more regular basis so that employees know where they stand in the firm.

Pros : I found the pay to be excellent. I also thought that there was great flexibility in terms of allowing how each individual deals with their client. Everyone was very friendly as well.
Cons : This is a big law firm and being a big law firm there it can be quite arduous to figure out where you stand in the firm when compared to everyone else. I found this is be a somewhat small flaw in the grand scheme of things though.
