Job Duties:

• Conducted legal research and provided legal analysis on complex issues related to professional liability and healthcare law.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
• Prepare for and participate in all aspects of trial advocacy, including depositions, hearings, and trials.
• Manage and advise clients on litigation strategy and settlement negotiations.
• Keep abreast of legal developments and changes in the medical malpractice and healthcare law arenas.

Requirements:

• 3-7 years of experience in medical malpractice litigation, preferably within a reputable law firm.
• Excellent writing and oral communication skills.
• Strong legal research capabilities and analytical abilities.
• Proven experience in trial advocacy, including depositions and motions.
• Membership in good standing with the New Jersey Bar.

Education and Certifications:

• Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the New Jersey Bar (active and in good standing).
