Commercial Litigation Paralegal The candidate will organize documents and coordinate document productions. Conduct the bates-stamping, redaction, duplication and indexing of documents. Set up and maintain files which are organized chronologically, numerically and/or by subject matter. Prepare witness and matter materials for case preparation. Organize interview memos, digests and other relevant documents for attorney review and case preparation. Prepare for depositions - Under attorney supervision, gather and prepare documents relevant to the deponent and organize exhibits. Motion practice - Pull relevant documents, proofread papers, organize exhibits and create document indices in the preparation of motion filing. Court filings - Knowledge of State and Federal eFilings. Work with attorneys in the preparation and filing of all court documents. Organize the briefs, exhibits and appendices. Prepare for trials - Organize exhibits, files and all other supporting documents. Preparing and finalizing all document productions with Bates numbers and endorsements. Quality Control checking of all preproduction and produced documents and load files. Excellent Summation skills including database construction, creating, editing, running load files and Images. Management of e-discovery tasks with outside vendors. Provide Technical support/ liaise with IT personnel for litigation support program installation and trouble shooting. Advanced Excel, Microsoft Office, Adobe, Summation iBlaze, Commence Database, IPRO IConvert, Familiarity with Concordance formatting, various Transcription Software, Microsoft Access data searches. Must have 3+ years of experience in litigation. Good typing skills, thorough and accurate required. Knowledge of IPRO, Concordance, eScanit,Adobe Acrobat PDF for redaction and productions, Excel. Excellent communicator. Detail oriented.
