Contract Administrator Duties: Responsible for supporting the commercial team, in-house attorneys, and outside counsel to draft, edit, revise, review and analyze commercial documents, transactions and proposals. Contract Analysts report directly to the Director of Legal Support Services. Review, obtain necessary information and prepare contracts for review and approval. Follow all Policies and Procedures regarding contractual agreements. Participate in contract negotiations with manufacturers, suppliers and vendors. Assemble legal documents and ensure completeness of contract review packages. Assist business units with selection of standard contract forms. Assist department staff with various contract related projects and handle all administrative aspects of contract processing. Assist in uploading and cataloging executed contracts. Review existing agreements for purpose of identifying information pertinent to legal review of new documents. Support team and business units by responding to routine matters and questions and act as legal liaison to business units. Update, maintain, and ensure accuracy of internal contract information database.
Qualification and Experience
Qualifications: S. Degree. Associates Degree or equivalent professional experience. Paralegal certification preferred. Advanced experience working in a law firm or industry setting, managing multiple transactions/ projects at any given time, or equivalent in-house/corporate experience. Exposure to Master Service Agreements, Master Purchase Agreements, Dedicated Supply Agreements, Work Orders, Purchase Orders and other commercial documents is critical. Exposure and experience working directly with business Executives in a corporate environment. Experience managing contracts from initiation to execution. Experience with electronic signature system. Experience with SAP a plus. Basic knowledge of legal support in the areas of compliance, transactions, litigation and risk management. Ability to review business transactions with a high degree of accuracy and completeness. Ability to define problems, organize relevant facts, and draw and defend valid conclusions. Ability to produce executive level reporting and data analysis related to legal matters. Ability to work and communicate effectively with all levels of co-workers, clients, other external contacts and management up to the executive level. Comfort working in and facilitating teams toward a common goal. Ability to work independently on matters within in the position. Proficient in all Microsoft Office products; experience with SAP. Strong organizational, communication, and administrative skills.
